Books on Point is a fast growing accounting and advisory firm rooted in the wineries and orchards of Chelan, WA.  

Our key clients are wineries and orchardists, but we also serve other small businesses and nonprofits.  Our clients love us because we make their lives easier and we help them navigate the financial side of their business with confidence.

We work as a 100% virtual firm, but all of our clients are local to the area.  We have doubled in size in the past year and are looking to double again in the coming year.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor who can jump in to bookkeeping and QuickBooks cleanup work.  The ideal candidate 

  • Wants to work 30-40 hours a week
  • Has an AA or BA with coursework in accounting
  • Is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor
  • Knows Washington State payroll 
  • Has experience managing multiple clients
  • Knows how to work effectively in a virtual environment.  

We are looking for someone ready to take ownership of his/her work, devoted to top-notch service, and excited to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Perform primary bookkeeping tasks, including publishing documents from Hubdoc to QuickBooks Online, coding transactions, managing POS integrations, reconciling accounts, creating invoices, paying bills, filing state sales and use tax returns, and processing payroll
  • Create and review month-end client reports
  • Respond to client requests and queries
  • Set up new client accounts, including cleanup work

Compensation

  • $20-$27/hour DOE
  • Paid time off

  • Step Two.  We will schedule a screening interview with qualified applicants.  This interview will be conducted via phone, less than 30 minutes, and gives you a chance to ask us anything you’d like.
  • Step Three.  We will ask you to complete an accounting/QuickBooks assessment.
  • Step Four.  Finally, top candidates will be invited to a thorough interview via Zoom.
